Burning Ranger Build
I ran this build last night in RA and am wondering if you can rate it. It is high energy return for your spell and heavy burning on your foes. I only tried it out because I have a forgerunner bow that I never use. I am not saying this is a new build just that it worked. Take a look let me know your thoughts. I had pretty good luck with it. Burned a lot of people to death and never seemed to run out of energy.
[skill]conjure flame[/skill] [skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill] (Optional skill Disrupt/damaging skill/poison signet) [skill]marksman's wager[/skill] [skill]whirling defense[/skill] [skill]favorable winds[/skill] [skill]Troll Unguent[/skill] [skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Compared to a standard burning arrow ranger, this build is bad.

Truth be told, I'm curious why you use three skills (two normal, one elite) that has the same effect as one elite skill. Dropping Marksman Wager would let you take Apply Poison as your preperation. That would leave you a number of slots to bring utility/interrupts to play with.
FW tends to be a little (read quite) unweildy in PvP, and I'm sure it's not really needed.
On top of all that, you have no way of covering that hex, and any good monk in any level of PvP is going to have a way of removing hexes, which means you will be out 15 energy everytime you lose MoR.
Whirling Defense is a little dated, and the slot would be better used for something that has a speed buff.

Decent, but it doesn't look like you even need the energy. using prepared shot, you're going to suffer a surplus of it.
I'm a "read the wind" guy myself for it's armor ignoring and raw arrow speed, but
advantages of kindle are you can run whatever string - say, vampiric, and still use conjure flame.
with that spread, that's 14 fire damage, less 8 from rtw.
and another 5 from vampiric. Of course there's the issue of easy dodging if you're using a flatbow
I think you're better off with burning arrow (in place of rodgort) and using a couple timed attack skills for "ias" If you want burning, it's cheaper. stick with the conjure if you like, but with 14expertise, energy from attack skills is not nearly as big an issue. Hunters for cheap quick follow ups, or penetrating/sundering for more pressure.

Thanks to Mark of Rod, he definitely will be needing the energy.
